Adrine Brown is a Senior Social Service Caseworker at Jefferson County Department of Human Resources in Adult Services. Brown has experience in child welfare cases, assessing child abuse and neglect and advocating for awareness in the need for collaboration and communication between community stakeholders and Jefferson County DHR. In adult services, she performs routine visits to homes to determine ideal placement and wellbeing of vulnerable adults. To accomplish this, she has collaborated with law enforcement, social service agencies and the courts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of at-risk adults.
Brown is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in psychology and social work. She also has a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in public health and graduated from Birmingham School of Law and holds a Juris Doctor.
